Missy Stinson

To introduce myself to you is a great honor and privilege. My name is Missy Stinson.

I am a mom to 2 amazing boys ages 10 and 7, as well as a wife.
After completing my family of 2 kids and 2 dogs I continued on in my life to chase the extreme sports and the rush with the challenges I would
overcome and conquer in order to set myself apart from your average athlete and mother.
I started with the training for Mud Hero and the I pressed forward to compete in the Elite heat super Spartan with world champion Allison Tai
and I surprised myself by competing with the best of the best. To prepare for all of this I was doing back to back 5km-8km-10km races to push
myself out of my comfort zones. I still race multiple races and Obstacle Course Races (OCR). Spartan Trifecta Finisher
I began running fitness training and large group Functional Interval Training classes, as well as personal training one on ones. Giving Back to others and bringing out the true inner
fire and strength brings me great joy! Empowering others to achieve their next level is a passion of mine to show, no matter where you come from or what your story is,
you are able to write a new page each day of your life and live to the fullest.
I then wanted to chase my passion on stage as a fitness competitor so I joined the WBFF (World Beauty Fitness and Fashion)
federation and I won 1st as a Fitness Model. I decided to make sure that I had explored other options and I competed in the Arnold classics
and landed in the top 20 model search. I am currently preparing for my pro show in L.A. (pending covid travel)
Being that I have a unique and effective way of training I ended up connecting with the US Air Force Base in Wyoming and
I have been virtually training large groups of Civil Engineers (C.E)
Pushing the military to improve their training and showing them alternative ways to be effective and have strong team building exercises.
I have been a part of extreme sports as long as I can remember as my brother became provincial arena cross champions by the age of 8 years old.
My dad and brother have been competing in motocross, euro cross and arena cross for the past 20 years. It is where I originally met the
First Female Gold medalist in euro cross Shelby Turner... years later I would help her train for her competitions around the world, helping her
perform at a higher level.
I grew up riding the mountains between British Columbia and Alberta borders, I preferred to quad as I was more cautious then my brothers at the
time. Hiking and fishing became a natural part of my life at a young age where we would camp in the mountains in preparation before the races.
Playing most sports growing up also, volleyball, basketball, soccer, dance and even softball... it gave me a great push towards achieving more but also being
an active mother leading by example. We live by this... "You can crash, you can fall, you can hurt, you can cry, but even with blood you get up and try again!"
I am so excited to be a part of a team that breathes into who they are and rises by lifting others, believing everyone starts somewhere and everyone deserves greatness.
